Sipsmith takes Centre Court at Wimbledon!

As an exclusive partner to the UK’s biggest tennis event, we went to capture some content and surprise and delight some queuers.

The Brief

Summer 2024, Sipsmith was proudly serving as the official gin sponsor of the Wimbledon Championships, with their drinks flowing across the grounds, a special Wimbledon-inspired Rosewater Gin created, and plenty of events to bring the spirit of the tournament to life.

Our mission for those two weeks in July? To create a vibrant mix of content that shone a spotlight on this winning partnership. We crafted pieces that were entertaining, informative, and reactive, designed to capture the buzz of Wimbledon and engage fans from every corner.

We had three areas of content and production, which we planned for throughout June, this included:

  • Lo-fi content capture on-site, where we attended the event, carrying out surprise and delights in the queue, filming a ‘where to sip’ at Wimbledon, and highlighting key serves.

  • Reactive and trend-led content, showing celebrities at the event, attendees at the Sipsmith bar, and celebrating the winners

  • Event capture, of the exclusive women's finals viewing experience in London, with tennis legends and martini masters in attendance.
